Paulo Sérgio Pizani

Biography

Graduated in physics at University of Philosophy Science and Letters from Rio Claro(1972), master(1977) and PhD(1983) in physics from University of São Paulo and post-doc at  Université Paul Sabatier, Toulouse, France(1994-1995). Currently is main professor at Federal University of São Carlos. Has experience at physics areas, with emphasis on condensed matter physics: optic and spectroscopy proprieties, others interactions of matter with radiation and particles, act mostly in the follow themes: Raman dispersal, high pressure effects (hydrostatic and non-hydrostatic), transitions phase, photoluminescence, structural disorder, vitreous materials, ferroelectric and semiconductors
