Computer resources

Our Physics Department is equipped with a Computational Physics Laboratory, which serves professors and graduate students. Through resources from Thematic Projects (FAPESP) a significant number of new machines were acquired, opening the possibility of thorough parallel processing in the study of complex systems. With aid from Thematic Project resources, the installation of new facilities has been frequent. This has offered an expressive increase in the speed of data transfer in the department's internal network, as well as in internet access. Such expansions have granted the standardization of computational facilities, extending their access to all faculty and students' offices and labs.
